Overall Objective:
To assist with the production of monthly management accounts & statistics and financial reporting for both the CACEIS Branch, Ireland Branch (“the Branch”) and CACEIS Ireland Limited (“the Company”) and to deliver upon the performance objectives set by the Manager Financial Control.

 Main Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Implement the day-to-day financial control as directed by the Manager
- Financial Control, with particular focus on recording income receipts and creation of income accruals
payment and recording expenses (both cash and credit card)
following up queries with suppliers
cost control
relationships with creditors.
·         Investigate and analyse variations in income (commission and interest) and expenses from month to month, year to year and against budget.
·         Prepare triannual income forecasts and an annual income budget.
·         Maintain daily cash reconciliations for all accounts.
·         Liaise with Operations (Fund Accounting and Depositary) to ensure accuracy of monthly commission income accruals

·         Prepare and collate monthly statistics (e.g.
aged debtors, value and movement of assets, largest income clients), for management and financial reporting

·         Prepare and collate monthly management papers for Senior Management meetings and quarterly papers for Board and Supervisory meetings.
·         Assist in the preparation and delivery of annual statutory accounts and respond to all external and internal auditor and tax advisor queries

·         Adhere to the financial reporting requirements, format and deadlines of CACEIS Group


·         Assist and contribute to the preparation of quarterly budgets focusing on income, assets and volumes.
·         Respond to management and auditor queries in a comprehensive and timely manner.
·         Assist with the preparation and submission of bi-monthly VAT returns for the Group

·         Liaise with CACEIS Bank peers across the Group, as appropriate

·         Identify opportunities for innovation and performance improvement in process and systems within the Finance Department
·         Resolve and escalate, as appropriate, any issues
and
·         Contribute to ad hoc projects as required.


• Two years' experience within a similar position.


• Minimum of third level qualification in an Accounting or a related field, ideally suited to someone part qualified.
