Contracting:

1.
To assist in the drafting of Customer Documentation and Terms and Conditions.

2.
To monitor deadlines of contractual documentation and coordinate the contracting process in Dublin.

3.
To collect and archive all contractual documents in the local language and to organise an English translation for the Irish based Insurance Companies.
To review all contractual documents prior to validation and signature (and ensure validation is properly documented).

4.
To report on contractual documentation status including coordination of Legal Review Meetings and preparation of minutes.

5.
Deal with internal queries.

6.
Circulate T&Cs for validation and track versioning accordingly in instances of new releases or amendments.

7.
More generally to ensure versioning and various releases of customer documents and business-to-business contracts are followed and finalised for presentation to internal product approval committees.

8.
To ensure the contract validation and sign-off process is clearly communicated to and respected by stakeholders.


To draft/ review the contractual documents in liaison with:

1.
The Underwriting & Pricing Team for the underwriting risk clauses: pricing, commissions, reimbursements, eligibility conditions, exclusions.

2.
The Reserving Teams for the actuarial reporting: reporting requirements.

3.
The Operations Department to ensure that the operational processes are reflected in the documentation and acceptation process/medical underwriting rules.

4.
The Group Legal Department to comply with legislation and regulations.

5.
The Business Development team to comply with the proposals agreed with our partners.

6.
The Compliance Function: review complaints clause, data protection and AML.


Regulation and Compliance:

1.
Provision of assistance in reviewing and implementing policies and procedures concerning all aspects of compliance in adherence with the requirements of the Central Bank of Ireland, international regulators and Credit Agricole Group.

2.
To monitor the external environment as regards changes in regulations and laws in Ireland and across Europe and the effects on contracting and customer documents and to communicate these accordingly.

3.
To assist in creating processes related to and monitoring of development in product oversight and governance requirements.

4.
To participate to internal compliance and legal related committees as required.

5.
To participate to and provide support to the governance procedures around approval of new products and activities partners (NAP Committee).
6.
To assist with internal controls, group reporting requirements and implementation of internal audit recommendations.

7.
To perform ad hoc assignments and projects relating to compliance and governance as shall be required from time to time.

Experience and knowledge of regulatory and commercial aspects of insurance contracts, terms and conditions and consumer protection issues.

3 years' or more work experience in insurance.

Educated to degree level and/ or professional qualification.
Background in insurance, legal and/ or compliance are necessary.
