Our client, a globally orientated provider for business solutions within the information technology sector is currently seeking for a Junior GL Accountant for their Swiss office located in Zurich. We seek for someone to start immediately in a Try & Hire set-up.

Reconcile cash accounts and coordinate with accounts payable and receivable teams to resolve discrepanciesTrack capital expenditures and record monthly depreciationPrepare general ledger journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation schedulesReview intercompany eliminations and transfer pricing calculationsPrepare monthly financial statements with fluctuation analysesProvide support for VAT and tax filingsAssist with the annual audit (quarterly reviews and SOX procedures) and statutory accountsHelp optimize internal accounting processes together with the Accounting ManagerAdditional ad hoc and project based assignments

First experience in GL accounting (min. 1-2 years)Further education within the Accounting sector (University, FH, further education) desireableLanguages: English fully fluent, German would be a plusExperience with local standards (Swiss GAAP or IFRS) as well as US GAAP would be a plusWeareseekingfor a teamplayerwith a hands-onmentalityand a high levelofmotivation in ordertodevelophim/herselfAnalytical and flexible personality
