Team Presentation
 
The Leveraged Debt Platform team (?LDP EMEA?) is composed of c. 80 professionals in 6 European countries with responsibility for originating and executing debt transactions (Loans and High Yield Bonds) for private equity sponsors. LDP EMEA has consistently achieved a leadership position in league tables. The contemplated position is within the French Origination team (10 people) based in Paris.
 
 
Main Objectives
 
Incorporated in a deal team under the direct supervision of senior members, the Candidate is involved in deal analysis, presentations, negotiation and execution. She/He gains autonomy and credit views and intervenes at all stages of the transaction, from credit process until closing and has proven pitching, modelling and credit paper drafting capabilities.
 
 
 
Main Tasks
Main Skills
 
§ Preliminary internal due diligence on opportunities (market / company / comps ?)
§ Drafting of pitches
§ Critical analysis of due diligence reports
§ Responsible of financial model
§ Autonomous drafting of sections of credit papers (screening/credit Committee etc.)
§ Communication and interaction with internal partner groups (Risks, Middle Office, Compliance, Global Markets, BDDF, Industry Group, ECM, M&A, etc.).
§ Involved in syndication phases (drafting of Information Memorandum, management and rating presentations, Q&A process...) and closing of transactions (KYC, funds flow, etc.)
§ May be involved in commitment papers negotiation
§ Has a partial autonomy on transaction execution
§ Begins to create commercial relationships
