Area sales manager - east midlands H/F

Main Purpose of Job:

To drive sales and manage a network of authorised distributors and electrical contractor base within the Nottingham, Lincoln, Leicester and Peterborough area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain close working (multilevel) relationships with authorised distributors
* Develop and implement national distribution plan
* Develop and agree business plans with each distributor partner
* Develop, agree, and work from branch development plans with each authorised branch
* Provide quarterly sales forecast by distributor branch
* With the support of marketing, introduce and run a distributor promotion programme
* Organise training programmes for distributor sales personnel.
* Increase profitability and Sales by making regular visits
* Customer visits are carried out in a structured and effective manner
* Update SF.COM each month with detailed account of customers visited
* Mileage recording and Expenses logged by 1st working day each month
* Min 30 face to face sales calls into wholesale partners / contractors
* Work with the customer base to generate demand for our products for our distributors and take control of the major customers of our distributors
