Graduate Case Handler - Pension Project

What's the Role?

Our client, a large financial services establishment are recruiting for a Graduate Case Handler to join a Pensions project based in Edinburgh. After training, you will be responsible for investigating customer cases, reviewing reports and collating data with a focus to achieve a fair customer outcome. This is a highly visible role where your contribution will not go unnoticed.

* Rate: £120 - £150
* Work pattern: Monday - Friday, Standard Business Hours
* Duration: 3 months (with possible extension)

Your day-to-day activities will include:

* Working with a wide range of systems to manage data and updating customer information
* Providing efficient and timely support to the review of pension products sold
* Reviewing exception reports related to customer pension policies
* Customer service via inbound and outbound calls
* Handling written correspondence and performing the necessary action for customer queries
* Updating customer records, capturing data and information to perform calculations
* Responsible for working in line with policies and regulations

What Knowledge, Skills & Experience We Need

* Minimum 2:1 degree required
* Confident written communication and telephony skills
* Strong numeracy, literacy and decision-making skills with confidence in making appropriate decisions
* Highly organised with the ability to multi-task between several systems and manage priorities
* Able to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
* Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
* Ability to work to defined performance standards and contribute to the team and customer outcomes
* Previous experience using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
* Driven to achieve targets and take ownership of workload
