Group chief financial officer / finance director (m/f) H/F

Our client is the Swiss leader in selling/maintaining equipment and services for real estate agents and residential property owners across Switzerland.

The company was founded more than 35 years ago, has 100+ employees through 6 subsidiaries. The company has grown exponentially in recent years through organic and external growth and is now looking to hire a full time Chief Financial Officer / Finance Director

Consolidation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts for the parent company and all subsidiaries - including KPI's;

Manage financial controls and accounting procedures;

Advise on and oversee the implementation of MIS, financial controls, and financial reporting for the Group and all its subsidiaries;

Planning and managing the integration of financial and KPI's reporting for newly acquired companies;

Report and ensure full transparency to the shareholders (PE Fund), over the financial performance of the company and its subsidiaries;

Propose action plans to ensure that financial controls and reporting are advancing and improving constantly;

Coordinate with external auditors, banks and financial advisors;

Produce all required regulatory reporting and tax documentation and optimize tax structure.

The role is newly created and consequently ad-hoc responsibilities may be expected for the incumbent.

Bachelor's Degree (MBA preferred);

7+ years' experience in financial managerial position;

Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and Office; experience in other accounting software is a plus;

Good communication skills and capacity to delegate to multi-location-based teams;

Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner;

Fluent in French, English and German;

Role based in Geneva with expected 20% of work time travel within Switzerland;

Candidate expected to be independent and ready to adapt to changing conditions in the Group as it grows through acquisitions across Switzerland.
