The purpose of the position is to develop the Real Money Clients Segment primarily in the space of Interest Rate products.
Products can extend to FX and beyond, whilst customer base coverage would include other segment of FI clients covered by the team where necessary.
Strategy and Business Planning
Identify, target and solicit new customers.
Responsible for proper development of efficient framework for client coverage – front to back end.
Develop and strengthen client relationship.
Institutionalizing clients and creating strong CA branding.
Formulating marketing plans and taking the plans to fruition.
Be on top of internal and regulatory policies in carrying out day to day transactions.
Be aware of market/economic developments in relation to how it will affect the business, clients and the firm as a whole.
Plan and organize visits and meetings individually and with management/relevant firm resources.
Liaise with Relationship Managers & Senior Bankers for related client activities/information.
To meet and exceed both individual and team budget.
Management and Reporting
Report to Head of Flow FX & Rates Sales in Singapore regularly on both informal and formal basis on progress of business and specific issues.
Attend weekly meeting with the sales team to review marketing strategy, exchange ideas and receive updates on any important administrative matters.
Ensure clients are all cleared by credit, legal, compliance, back office before trading.
Ensure pre trade checks and post trade monitoring are adequately performed.
Adhere to and understand the risks to the bank and the client resulting from marketing initiatives and/or successful conclusion of transactions.
Entertain clients appropriately to promote the firm and its products.
Network with contacts in the business to generate business for Deposits, IRD, FX and commodities Desks.
- At least 6 years local experience in fixed income markets
background in Rates and structured products is the priority
Credit and FX a plus
Degree preferably in mathematical or finance-based subject
