Position Summary
Trading, secured repo and derivative products, including risk monitoring and hedging of US Rates flow book.
Key Responsibilities: 
Provide secured client financing while maximizing market share and spread revenue
Implement derivative strategy to arbitrage opportunities versus funding markets
Calculate and hedge sensitivity of US Rates flow book
Facilitate utility funding for the treasury cash desk
Maintain strong market knowledge of US rates and derivative space
Identify and relay market trends to sales & CACIB management
Strive to achieve balance sheet efficiency
Provide fair and consistent pricing
Actively team with global sales to develop client relationships
Manage strong broker relationships
Adhere to market and credit risk limits
Execute trades within compliance and conduct framework
Provide balance sheet maintenance in relation to global RSF needs
Support the development of infrastructure required to develop new business
Build process improvements to improve desk efficiency
Support the development of junior salespersons and traders
Support trading platform migration

Managing and Reporting
Reporting: Head of Repo and Secured Funding, Americas
Report to management on an ad-hoc basis where business dictates and requires
Provide technical support and direction to more junior staff as appropriate

Risk
Adhere to CA-CIB policies and be alert to risks arising from transactions for the bank and the client
Be aware of compliance and reputational risks in everyday dealings with clients
Ensure the adequacy of solutions within client objectives
Seek validation from all relevant groups on all transactions involving a risk position by the bank

Systems Used
Helix, Apex, Kondor+, Orchestrate, Bloomberg, Microsoft Office Products, and all other appropriate Front Office system, broker platforms and data sources.

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time
Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role.
Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

Location: The role is based in New York.

Experience in financial engineering/structuring and new product development.
Experience in financial products for the following asset class: ABS, RMBS, CMBS, IRD, FX, Credit.

Finance related university degree and/or professional qualificationDegree in Mathematical subject preferred
